Neuro Health at MUHCRI brings together highly productive and internationally recognized research groups whose work spans the full spectrum of neuroscience — from molecules to cognition, from function to dysfunction, and from fundamental and translational research to clinically oriented studies.

We take pride in publishing in leading international journals and in consistently securing competitive national and international research funding. We are also deeply committed to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, as well as to student supervision. The Master Programmes in Neurosciences and in Cognitive Science, and the corresponding PhD Programmes, which we coordinate, reflect our strong dedication to multidisciplinary scientific education.

Engagement with society is another core pillar of our mission. We actively promote science dissemination and maintain close interactions with patient-oriented organizations. Fostering cross-fertilization both within Neuro Health groups and across other MUHCRI clusters is a defining hallmark of Neuro Health — one that we are committed to further strengthening and nurturing.
